I had been trying to get pregnant for seven years and had been told that I had unexplained infertility. Following 2 unsuccessful cycles of IVF, I visited Deirdre Armstrong and after charting for a few cycles, it became clear that my progesterone levels were low. Because of this, I started regular acupuncture sessions and became pregnant after a few months, following a frozen embryo transfer. It is well documented that frozen embryo transfers have less chance of success than fresh cycles, therefore I am convinced that the acupuncture preparation beforehand and support before and after the cycle had a significant impact on the success of the procedure.

We had been trying for a baby for 18 months with no success when I heard about fertility awareness. I decided to investigate, and made contact with Deirdre. After just one session, I was infinitely more equipped to plan the optimum time for our child’s conception. We were lucky, in that there were no underlying problems with either of us – we were just getting the timing wrong! After two months of using the technique we were successful and I am thrilled to be Deirdre's 20th pregnant client!

My husband and I had been trying to conceive for just over 2 years when I heard of Deirdre's services and I decided to get in touch with her for some advice. Just a few appointments later I was well versed in identifying my optimum ovulation dates, which meant that I was then confident that my husband and I were doing everything we could when we should! Unfortunately there was still no sign of our much longed for pregnancy but Deirdre refused to give up on me and she became just as determined as I was to get me pregnant! It became clear that our best option for success was likely to be IVF treatment and Deirdre again provided me with invaluable advice in preparing for what was to be a far more daunting path. I am pleased to say that our first attempt at IVF was a success and I am now half way through my pregnancy. I believe that this success is in the main due to the fact that my husband and I had exhausted all conventional methods before embarking on a more invasive procedure and I was mentally in the right place to begin such a journey. We will always be grateful to Deirdre for this invaluable support.
